{"id":18802,"date":"2024-08-22T18:25:11","date_gmt":"2024-08-22T16:25:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/comunitamagnificat.org\/2024\/08\/22\/i-love-you-very-much\/"},"modified":"2024-08-22T18:25:25","modified_gmt":"2024-08-22T16:25:25","slug":"i-love-you-very-much","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/comunitamagnificat.org\/en\/i-love-you-very-much\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;I love you very much!&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p>General Community Leaders met with the Archbishop of Perugia &#8211; Citt\u00e0 della Pieve, Monsignor Gualtiero Bassetti.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p>On Monday, July 12, 2010, the General Managers of the Community, were scheduled to meet with Archbishop Gualtiero Bassetti to discuss some issues together.\nNothing special.\nWhat is special, however, is the affection that the Magnificat Community&#8217;s Ecclesiastical Leader shows us on every occasion when he meets someone from our Community.  <\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p>A small sign that made our beloved pastor as well as the Leaders present smile was noticing that on the wall of the Bishop&#8217;s Hall where the audience was &#8220;coincidentally&#8221; taking place, right above the chair where the Archbishop had been seated, towered a beautiful icon of the<em>Agnus Dei<\/em>, painted by Ginette Girardet, with the inscription &#8220;COMMUNITY MAGNIFICAT&#8221; on the hem of the Virgin&#8217;s robe, in every way similar to the one that shows itself on the home page of our website and at each of our meetings.<\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><picture data-lightbox=\"https:\/\/comunitamagnificat.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/bassetti-icona-comunita.jpg\"><source type='image\/jpeg' srcset='https:\/\/comunitamagnificat.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/bassetti-icona-comunita.jpg 299w, https:\/\/comunitamagnificat.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/bassetti-icona-comunita-225x300.jpg 225w' sizes='(max-width: 299px) 100vw, 299px' \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"299\" height=\"399\" src=\"https:\/\/comunitamagnificat.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/bassetti-icona-comunita.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6970\"\/><\/picture><figcaption>The Archbishop under the Community icon &#8220;coincidentally&#8221; hanging in the Bishop&#8217;s Hall&#8230;<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p>Those in charge who were present then recounted that before dismissing them with a blessing, Monsignor Bassetti said these words to them,<em>&#8220;Now you go away but I remain with you&#8230; because I love you very much!<\/em>&#8220;<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p><strong>Thank you Lord for giving the Community such a pastor!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>General Community Leaders met with the Archbishop of Perugia &#8211; Citt\u00e0 della Pieve, Monsignor Gualtiero Bassetti.
