Magnificat Foundation established

On April 14, 2014, the MAGNIFICAT FOUNDATION was established by public deed by the Magnificat Community with headquarters in St. Manno: “The Foundation intends to pursue, in a profoundly Christian spirit, in accordance with the Gospel message and the teachings of the Catholic Church, purposes of social solidarity directed at bringing benefits to persons disadvantaged by reason of physical, mental, economic, social and family conditions, especially minors and members of foreign communities limited to humanitarian aid as provided for in Art. 10 paragraph 2 lett. a) and (b) Legislative Decree. 460/97. The Foundation will operate by disbursing grants, contributions and services directly to the disadvantaged or, in the case of disadvantaged minors, directly to the same or to the family unit of reference.”

The Foundation will take care of the management of the properties owned by the Community and the charitable activities are carried out by the Community on a permanent basis, including Operation Little Brother and the prolonged support of individuals and families who are in situations of special need.

The Foundation is recognized as a non-profit organization. with the benefits that the law gives to such entities: in particular, our Foundation, when filing its income tax return, can already benefit from the 5×1000 allocation by taxpayers and the deductibility of donations made to them during the year. We therefore invite all Allies, Novices, Disciples and sympathizers to indicate the tax code of the MAGNIFICAT FOUNDATION in their tax returns as the destination for the 5×1000, also sensitizing acquaintances, relatives and friends to make this indication.
