Official recognition of the Community arrives

Friday, January 19, 2024 the delivery of the Decree

On the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Dec. 8, 2023, Cardinal Kevin Farrell, Prefect of the Dicastery for the Laity, Family and Life, signed the Decree by which he recognized the Magnificat Community as an International Association of the Faithful and approved its Statutes, ad experimentum for five years.
On Friday, January 19, 2024, at the Dicastery’s headquarters in Rome, Cardinal Farrell will officially deliver the Decree to the Community’s representatives in a ceremony that will be filmed and broadcast on the Community’s official YouTube channel.
In the afternoon of the same day, at 4 p.m., the Magnificat Community will celebrate a Mass of Thanksgiving in the Basilica of St. Joseph al Trionfale (Via Bernardino Telesio, 4).
