Way 2012-2013

The Magnificat Community’s growth journey begins this week under the theme“Teacher Teach Us to Pray.”

“All those who are called into Community, Friends and allies, know that relationship with God is essential in our lives. Without the relationship with God, the fundamental relationship is lacking, and the relationship with God is realized in talking with Him, in daily personal prayer and through participation in the sacraments, and thus this relationship can grow in us, can grow in us the divine presence that directs our path, enlightens it and makes it safe and serene, even in the midst of difficulties and dangers. St. Therese of the Child Jesus said, “For me, prayer is an outburst of the heart, a simple glance cast toward heaven, a cry of gratitude and love in trial as in joy.”
