Testimonials from the Camp

Here are some testimonials about the experience of Camp 2010

Dear brothers, I am writing to witness to you, the beauty of the camping organized by the Magnificat Community in Torre Rinalda of Lecce, it was for our family the first time we were able to participate in the summer camping, organized by the Community and it was very difficult for us to move with 3 sick small children and I who for a problem was in a wheelchair the trip lasted 9 hours outward and 12 hours return but it was really worth it, the love that we encountered the desire of all the brothers from the first moment to give us a hand in every need everyone was concerned to ask us if we needed a hand those who operated to help my husband those with the babies those with me to accompany me to the bath even bathing in the sea helped me to do, and then the constant presence of the Blessed Sacrament something you could feel in the air the peace, the love, the union, the healing mass , no one was forgotten, the children , the spouses , the sick, and all the community prayer in unison, all in one heart .. the praises, the testimonies, a mutual exchange of love and graces that the Lord made to each one of us, truly such a beautiful experience, that every sacrifice , it is worth living it I want to thank the Lord, Mary Most Holy, and in a special way 4 people who I got to know better and did a lot for us, Daniele and Alessandra Mezzetti, Jessica Mezzetti, and also Mauro Mariani, and all the others whose names are written in my heart and in my prayer. God bless you my brothers, it is really true what Jesus said that his , they would recognize each other by the love they would have among them…..and we have seen this love, thank you Jesus!

Once again this year I decided to experience the camp that the Magnificat Community organizes in Torre Rinalda in Salento; I have been going for many years and again this year the Lord’s graces were not long in coming.
Although there were some organizational problems at the beginning, we experienced God’s providence that we did not lack the priest for the daily Eucharist or his presence day and night in the adoration tent that had been seriously questioned, but the Lord heard our prayer and gave us the grace to stay with us for the duration of the camp.
As always I arrived at the camp very tired after a year of work and commitments, but I must say that as soon as I set foot there I immediately recovered; the presence of the brothers with whom I had the opportunity to share so many moments of the day, of prayer, service, the sea and also of celebration and the grace of being able to do Eucharistic adoration night and day were special graces for me that the Lord made me experience on this community vacation. Eucharistic adoration deeply refreshed me spiritually especially being able to be heart to heart with Jesus in the hours of the night.
I left the camp with a great joy and ready to start a new year again filled with the faces of brothers and sisters and all that the Lord made me experience.
Thank you Jesus!

Federica, Rome

My name is Cinzia, I want to share with you my first experience of the Magnificat Community camping in Lecce.
The trip was a bit long (I come from the province of Pisa)… but it was worth it
The day was composed as follows: breakfast, morning praise with invocation of the Holy Spirit, and prayer over the brothers, alternating shifts of service in the kitchen, and in the evening Holy Mass. Anyone who needed to share was always welcome! There were always brothers ready to listen and pray together.
But the most beautiful thing for me, was the 24-hour preseza of Jesus in the chapel with the continuous shifts of adoration: at any time we could be face to face with Jesus, ready there to listen, speak, console our hearts. In short, there was time to rest, time to go to the beach, time to eat, time to pray…time for everything! Even the moments of service became time for joy and fraternal union.
I thank God for giving me this experience, I thank for the brothers I met and with whom I prayed and shared this vacation.
Unfortunately, the vacation…is over but the peace and joy of those days is still present in my heart.

Cinzia, Fraternity of Marti (Pisa)
