The Feast of the Transfiguration, on Tabor

On the feast day of the Transfiguration of the Lord, the Archbishop of Perugia-Città della Pieve, Msgr. Ivan Maffeis, visited for the first time the Tabor House of the Magnificat Community, where he celebrated Mass with members of the Agello fraternity, some allies from neighboring fraternities, and numerous friends and sympathizers. Two General Responsibles Giacomo Lancini and Federico Luisi were also present.

The Mass concluded a day of spirituality that had already begun the previous evening, with a catechesis on the Gospel of the Transfiguration given by Fr. Livio Tacchini.

There were many at the Eucharistic adoration and Mass on Wednesday the 6th.

This was thehomily delivered by Archbishop Monsignor Ivan Maffeis.

The Archbishop, at the end of the celebration, said that today the Spirit is stirring up, alongside forms of presence on the ground such as units and pastoral zones, houses, places of spirituality where we will be able to meet many people in search. “Shrines, houses of spirituality and prayer will respond more and more to that need for spirituality … which is there today and is enormous!”
