My soul magnifies the Lord!
On December 8, 2023, exactly forty-five years after the first eccelsiastical approval, Cardinal Kevin J. Farrell, Prefect of the Dicastery for the Laity, Family and Life, signed the Decree recognizing of the Magnificat Community as a private international association of lay faithful, also approving its Bylaws, ad experimentum, for five years.
On January 19, 2024, at the Palazzo San Callisto in Rome, headquarters of the Dicastery, the Moderator General, Maria Rita Castellani, during a solemn ceremony, received the Decree and the new Statute, from the hands of the Secretary of the Department, Dr. Gleison De Paula Souza.
