The Community, from the very beginning, has strived to adhere to nothing but the will of the Lord, intuited charismatically in prayer, verified in community discernment, accompanied by the pastors of the Church.
From the very beginning, therefore, the Lord was able to speak to the Community, which, with simplicity, had placed itself in an attitude of humble, trembling listening.
One of the most significant moments of this prophetic path was experienced by Tarcisio Mezzetti who, in March 1978, had an intense and overwhelming experience of God in which he received the command to build with Jesus and on Jesus the Community. This experience was accompanied by the discernment of the then Archbishop of Perugia, Monsignor Ferdinando Lambruschini, who – less than a year later – approved the first statute of the nascent Magnificat Community.
